Our promise to nature
True luxury here means preserving the untouched wilderness around Orava’s Nest. To keep our cabin a sanctuary for guests and nature alike, we ask you to follow these principles: use energy mindfully, sort all waste for recycling, and draw drinking water responsibly from our natural spring. You are welcome to feed the birds and squirrels at the designated feeding spots, using the feed we provide.
And above all: Leave No Trace. Take only photographs, leave only footprints, so the forest and its inhabitants can thrive undisturbed. Your conscious choices help ensure that future guests can experience the same untouched magic of Orava’s Nest and Finnish Lapland.
We also value a mindful approach among our guests. We deliberately welcome only a small number of people to Orava’s Nest and believe in keeping in direct contact with those who stay here. That is why every stay begins with an enquiry. It gives us the opportunity to take the time to arrange your stay together, at an easy pace and with care.
