Ruska is the Finnish word for the short, luminous season when the forests turn red, orange and gold. In Finnish Lapland it peaks in September and lasts only a few weeks. A full week means long hikes through colour-drenched forest, quiet mornings by the lake and nights clear enough for the first northern lights sightings of the year.

Our own activities can be booked directly through us, either in advance or at any time during your stay. For all other activities in the region, we are happy to give personal recommendations.
